Retouching
- Don’t worry about blemishes, facial Lines, and double chins!
We are experts at photographing with the best angles, most complimentary
lighting, and advise you regarding great colors and styles. In addition,
our retouching and enhancements are superb!

Basic retouching is included in all our portraits! Minor
blemishes, minor facial lines, and minor eyeglass glare are
eliminated.
• Deluxe retouching includes reducing
sheen on skin, eliminating large eyeglass glare, and significant
facial lines.
• Special retouching involves removing
stray hair, eliminating excessive beard, severe eyeglass reflection),
shadowing, and other possibilities.
• Teeth Whitening
• Removing Braces
• Facial Sculpting – slim chin
or neck size
• Head switching –move a head from
one image to another!

General Tips for you photography session:

Do not drastically change your hair style right before the session
• Do not over-expose yourself to the sun before the session
• Lay out all your clothing two nights before the session
• Confirm your session time and date with everyone involved
• If you don’t feel well, call and reschedule
• Arrive 5-10 minutes early
• If you are running late, please let us know –
we understand!
• Call us if you have any questions – even if they
seem silly!

Families
& Children

Don’t worry about your child’s behavior - that’s
our job and we are great getting kids (and parents) to feel
comfortable.
• Don’t pressure your children before the session
- to behave or coach them how to smile. If you have concerns
about them, just discuss it at the planning session.
• Our photography sessions will actually be fun for your
child! We capture that natural spontaneity and happiness.
• Let us know if your child has any food allergies. We
like to give them some “sweet motivation” during
the session.
• Bring whoever or whatever makes your child comfortable
– a grandmother, favorite toy, blanket, snacks, drinks…

Pets

For everyone’s safety, please keep your dogs on a leash
and your cats in a carrier while in the gallery area of our
studio
• Warn us in advance if you pet is not used to other people
or pets
• Bring your pets favorite toys and treats!
• Don’t worry – we have water for the pets!

Senior
Portraits

Book your session early to get the date you
want! Watch for our Senior Specials!
• Indoor sessions: bring plenty of outfits
to choose from! Don’t forget hats, sunglasses, jackets,
and lots of shoes and accessories.
• Outdoor sessions: be prepared to change
in the car or behind a tree (and quickly!). Don’t wear
perfume or you’ll get eaten up! Also – meet us at
the park.
• Friends are welcome - ask them to come
half way through your session so we can get your individual
portraits done first!
o Don’t forget to confirm the time with any friends or
family members who will be joining you in your session!
o We also love having parents at the session – we promise
that they will behave!
• Zits - Don’t stress! Basic retouching
is included in our Senior Package Pricing!
• Braces – Want them off? No problem
– we can “remove” them for you with deluxe
retouching.
• Glass Glare - retouching takes care
of it!
• Prepare all your outfits, sports equipment,
hobbies and other accessories two nights before your photography
session so you are prepared!
• Tunes - Bring your favorite tapes or
CD’s – whatever gets you ready to smile!
• Arrive early 5-10 minutes before your
session is scheduled.

Business Portraits:

Relax – we are as good in our business as you
are in yours!
• Natural is the Message - Your portrait
will be natural, confident, and strong.
• Introduce - Your image will “introduce
you” to your customers.
• Clothes - Since your images may be
shown in color or black and white, we will help you decide which
colors and outfits will work the best. One thing for sure -
wear the styles and look that have made you the success that
you are. Also, bring a variety.
• Jewelry - avoid overpowering jewelry,
which can detract from your facial features.
• Make-up should be applied slightly
heavier than for your every day look.
• Men - shave appropriately if your camera
study is scheduled for later in the day.
• Hair – avoid radical changes
in style and fashion.
