Studio Finish portraits include retouching and are mounted onto an archival art board. Studio Finish portraits are guaranteed for a lifetime against fading and discoloration. These portraits may be framed without glass.

Toning involves interpreting black and white images into variations of colored tones. Most frequently used tones are brown, sepia, blue and magenta.

Black and White Interpretations have a wide range of selections: high contrast images, posterizations, and grain effects are some popular examples

Watercolor portraits have rich, textured effects, edges and creative enhancements. Finished portrait are printed on archival Water Color papers and mounted on presentation board.

Tinting Before the advent of color photography, the surfaces of black and white photographs were enhanced through paints. This tinting of gray tones resulted in a surreal colorization. Applying this retro technique to our contemporary black and white portraits alters its interpretation through the selective use of color. We can give the portrait a soft feeling by applying subtle, pastel colors or we can make it bold and dynamic with the use of intense colors.

Gallery Canvas portraits mounted on artists’ canvas for a beautifully textured quality. The canvas look is appropriate for both formal and informal portrait styles.

Masterpiece Canvas portraits are printed for rich, deep colors. The print has the feel of an oil painting with hand-painted brush strokes, which gives the portrait additional depth and perspective.

Framing No portrait is complete without an exquisite frame. We will help you select a perfect custom frame or gift frame from the large selection in our Gallery. We are also available for home design consultations.
